Mark's Award Winning Fudge Recipe

(Originally from the makers of Carnation Milk)


Ingredients

2/3   cup Carnation Evaporated Milk
1 1/2   cups white sugar
1/2   teaspoon salt
3
  cups (32 medium) marshmallows
1
square unsweetened chocolate
1 1/2   cups (12 oz) chocolate chips
1   teaspoon vanilla
1/4

cup butter

Directions
  1. Mix milk, sugar and salt (and chocolate square) in a heavy saucepan, over med-high heat.
  2. Heat to boiling.
  3. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat, and add other ingredients.
  5. Stir until marshmallows are all melted.
  6. Pour into buttered 9" square pan.
  7. Cool and cut into squares.
