Nancy's Lasagna Recipe

(Goes well with copious amounts of red wine!)


Ingredients

1  
lb of lean ground beef.
4
small onions, chopped.

cloves of garlic, minced.
1

680 ml can of pre-made spaghetti sauce.
1

500 ml container of cottage cheese.
1

package of frozen spinach, chopped.

eggs, beaten.
2

cups of shredded mozarella cheeze.
1

pkg mozarella cheese slices.
1/2

package of wide lasagna pasta noodles. {Cooked or uncooked)

Directions

Sauce
  1. Fry onion, garlic and hamburger in frying pan until cooked.
  2. Add spaghetti sauce and heat to boiling.
Cheese Filling
  1. Mix cottage cheeze, spinach, eggs and shredded mozarella in a bowl to create filling.
Build the Lasagna
  1. Cook the pasta noodles if using uncooked variety.
  2. In a 9 x 13 inch pan, layer the following together:
  3. Top with sliced mozarella cheese. 
  4. Bake in a 350 oven for 1 hour.
Serve with garlic bread & caesar salad.
